Gillian Quinn

As well as running her own Dance School, Gillian Quinn founded the North of England College of Dance of which she is the Principal. She is also the artistic director of Ballet Nomad as well as Dance Kaleidoscope Youth Dance Theatre.

Gillian became an international examiner for the R. A. D. in 1969. She is a member of the Royal Academy of Dance and holds a B.Phil. (Hons) Arts, a Diploma in Sports Psychology and the Advanced Teachers Diploma of the R.A.D.

She is a member of the IDTA and is qualified to teach ballet, modern jazz, tap, ballroom and Bokwa.

Gillian trained with Nellie Potts, Audrey DeVos and also with Madam Preobrajenska in Paris. She danced professionally for eight years.
